Description: The sacramental recess for the communion cup in the ruin of St Meddans Church, Carved relief calvary in dark pink granite c. 15th century, showing the crucifixion with 2 Saints?
Related Information: St. Meddans Church Remains of church; was dedicated to St Meddan & belonged to the Abbey of Lindores. The walls stand to roof level & appear to have been restored. There are several old gravestones in the churchyard of which four have unusual designs. There are three long and thin pointed standing stones just S. of the kirk.
